Event Date: Sunday, 17th December 2023
Venue: Gandhi Maidan, Durgapur

To encourage participation of children and inspire them towards health and fitness, we will start this category in 2023. It also provides an opportunity to participants of other categories to bring their children along to participate in the same event and flaunt their finisher medal together after the race for pictures. 

Limited entries – The category takes in only limited number of entries on first come first serve.

Age Eligibility - Kids (Male & Female) aged between 8 yrs to 12 yrs can participate in the event. An Identification Card with proof of age is required to be submitted during the time of registration.

Guardians – One additional bib will be provided, allowing one guardian to enter the venue and also run along with the enrolled youngster. However, the event kit and finisher medal will only be available to the registered kid

Timed Category – KIDRUN 2K is a timed category i.e your chest number or BIB no will have a RFID chip attached the back that will record your finish timing which will determine your race position and also show on your finishing e-certificate. However, the timing chip will only be on the participant bib and not on the guardian’s bib.

IMPORTANT NOTE: PRIZES on the race day - Only the OPEN 10K podium winners (1st, 2nd & 3rd position) and SAREE RUN 2K winners will be announced on the Race Event Day. Rest of the winners in AGE CATEGORIES in Open 10K, Durgapur 5K & Kid Run 2K will be declared on the race website after verification of age proof documents and timing check points.
